Panelist: Sudeep Deb, New York City Department of Environmental Protection. He is an Assistant Environmental Engineer.

NYC DEP
Bio: Sudeep Deb is an Assistant Environmental Engineer at the New York City Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP), where he has worked during the past year. He is a trainee process engineer at the Tallman Island Water Pollution Control Plant. He is also involved with the BNR (Biological Nitrogen Removal) research group of DEP, collaborating with the City College of New York and Columbia University, to successfully implement the process for New York City’s fourteen wastewater treatment plants.

In addition, Sudeep is an Adjunct Lecturer at LaGuardia Community College (CUNY), where he teaches Math on a part-time basis.

Mr. Deb received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. He is a certified New York State Intern Engineer (FE). While in school, he worked as a Research Assistant at ‘material chemistry’ lab, and did an internship at an aluminum manufacturing company in Hawesville, Ky.
