Bio: Bob Williams, Cereplast Inc.
Bob Williams had worked for the General Electric Co. for his entire career, where he held various leadership positions at GE-Plastics, GE-Silicones, and GE-Capital Solutions. He has broad leadership skills in Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product Management. Mr. Williams has been recognized for his strong strategic skills in leading change, business turn arounds and driving strong commercial relationships and new business growth.
He recently joined Cereplast Inc. as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for the Eastern U.S. In this role, Mr. Williams has been able to use his vast leadership experience to develop a market- and customer-focused plan to accelerate the growth in this new, planet-friendly technology.
Mr. Williams has a A.A.S. degree from Hudson Valley Community College. He is a certified Six-Sigma Greenbelt, and has two patents and five disclosures for new plastics compounds with GE.
