NYC Summer Intern for DAAD (German Academic Exchange Program)

We have a last-minute internship opportunity available located in our office in New York City for an individual who is not only a dynamic and independent worker, but a team-player.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting the application process for our Young Ambassador Program (www.daad.org/?p=ambassadors)
• Organizing all logistics, including transportation, events and workshops, for the Young Ambassador training session in New York City from Aug. 18 to Aug. 21, 2011.
• Helping with general office duties.
The internship will begin in May (as soon as possible) and end on August 31, 2011.
A strong knowledge of German is desirable. An interest or background in higher education and/or event management is preferred.
Interns are paid a monthly living allowance of $750.
Housing is not provided.
Must have valid work permit for the US.
