Abstract: Session 1 - Climate Drivers and Climate Impacts

Presenter: Dr. Gavin A. Schmidt, Climate Scientist, NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies and also with the Paleoclimate Group at the Center for Climate Systems Research, Columbia University. Bio

Dr. Schmidt will discuss the forces driving current and future climate change, how it can attributed to human activities, and what this implies for future impacts. In particular, he will discuss how confident we can be in these impacts at different times, over different spatial scales, and across different variables.
