Bio: Hope Herron, Environmental Scientist at Tetra Tech.

Session 5 - Climate Risk Assessment and Adaptation Planning: Ensuring Services in Rhode Island Abstract

Hope Herron is an Environmental Scientist and Project Manager for Tetra Tech, Inc. in Washington, D.C., where she focuses on the nexus of climate change impact assessment, environmental mitigation and adaptation planning, and strategic communications and outreach.

Ms. Herron has managed and supported international and domestic climate assessments, including for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Ms. Herron also serves on Tetra Tech’s Corporate Sustainability Council, where she advances sustainability activities and corporate social responsibility across the company.

She holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources from the University of Queensland, Australia, a Master’s degree in International Communications from American University, and Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is also a Fellow of the Institute for Environmental Communications at Loyola University, Louisiana, and of the United Nations Association, Washington, DC.
